Dina Shohatee graduated in December 2018, with her Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering.

Along with this degree from the ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø, she delivered the commencement address, where she spoke of the wonderful experiences she had at ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø-Dearborn that lead her to that prestigious award, such as working as a bioengineering research assistant; a student assistant in the Science Learning Center; being President to the organization BioMedical Engineering Society; helping middle school students at a STEM-focused summer camp; demonstrating engineering projects for young people at Detroit’s Maker Faire; interning in the Disabilities Services office at ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø-Dearborn; and being awarded Campus Writing Awards for Poetry and Fiction.
