When Jerry Hale isn鈥檛 leading the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters, he鈥檚 likely behind the lens of a camera capturing nature鈥檚 beauty.
Six of the CASL dean鈥檚 photos recently appeared in a juried exhibition, which runs through March 2 at the Padzieski Art Gallery in Dearborn. Four of Hale鈥檚 photos were recognized, including three honorable mentions and a second-place award in the color photo category.
A panoramic shot of a hayfield in the Upper Peninsula, named 鈥淧ure 906,鈥 earned Hale second-place honors. The photo鈥檚 title is a play off the Pure Michigan campaign and the area code in the U.P.
